The problem
Almost all the work arrived by word of mouth. Someone would be given the name, search for it, find nothing, and the referral would quietly go cold — the recommendation had done its job and the internet undid it.
The approach
- Built for the referral visitor specifically: someone who already has the name and is checking the firm is real before calling.
- Put the qualifying facts in the first screen — operating since 2016, own crews and heavy equipment, Kiambu and the Nairobi metro, residential through industrial.
- Led on fast-track delivery and holding deadlines, because that is what the referrer was recommending in the first place.
- Kept it deliberately quick and plain. A contractor’s site earns trust by loading instantly and answering the question.
The outcome
A referral now lands somewhere that confirms the firm exists, shows what it builds, and puts a quote request one tap away.
