Digital work forautomotive.

Almost every automotive business in Kenya runs its shopfront on Instagram. It works, up to a point: the feed is current, the DMs come in, and the phone rings. What it cannot do is answer a buyer who is searching for a specific part, a specific service, or a specific make at eleven at night.

The businesses that pull ahead are the ones where a buyer can confirm something for themselves — that the part fits, that the yard does that kind of repair, that the wrap will look like the one in the photograph — before they have to ask a human.

What usually goes wrong

  • Stock that only exists as three thousand Instagram posts, unsearchable the moment it scrolls past
  • The same fitment question answered by hand twenty times a week
  • Quotes for the same job coming out differently depending on who wrote them
  • Enquiries split across DMs, WhatsApp and a phone nobody answers on site
  • No way for a buyer to judge the quality of the work before arriving

How we approach it

  • Put the thing being bought — the part, the service, the finished job — where search can reach it
  • Let the buyer self-qualify: fitment, scope and process visible without asking
  • Funnel everything to one channel, usually WhatsApp, because that is where the reply will actually happen
  • Photograph the work properly, since in this sector the finish is the product

Questions from this sector

Can you build a parts catalogue that shows fitment?
Yes — that is exactly what we built for Ken Direct Imports, so a buyer can confirm a part fits their vehicle before asking what it costs. It removes the single most repeated question in the parts trade.
We already get plenty of work from Instagram. Why bother?
Then keep Instagram. The gap is search: nobody googling for a specific part or repair lands on a grid of posts. A site does not replace the feed, it catches the demand the feed cannot reach and answers the questions you are currently answering by hand.
